Nursing Admission Requirements
Admission into the Nursing program will largely follow these guidlines:
- All interested candidates must possess a minimum of 5 WAEC/NECO Ordinary level credits in Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry not in more than 2 sittings to be eligible for admission. Candidates with NABTEB results must possess the result in just 1 sitting.
- All eligible candidates must sit for JAMB to be eligble for admission.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of admission to be eligble for Admission.
Admission Process: How to Apply
- Ensure you have read and met all the requirements before completing the application process.
- Ensure you have an active email and a reachable mobile number, as that will be used for all your verification processes.
- Complete the admission application and make payment.
- Attend the screening excercise.
- Accept your admission, make payment, and begin the registration process.
NOTE: A non-refundable fee must be paid prior to submitting your application. All payments must be made through the school payment portal. Interested candidates must have a valid email address and a contact phone number for verification. All forms must be filled in correctly.
Duration of Programme for Types of Admission
The student’s length of education will depend on the program that he/she is admitted to:
- The ND/HND program will be completed in 4 uninterrupted academic years (8 semesters).
- The General Nursing program will be completed in 6-semester period. (No longer admitting students)
- The Basic Midwifery program will be completed in 6-semester period. (No longer admitting students)
- The Post-basic nursing program will be completed in 15 to 18 months period. (Coming Soon)
